GritRecruit helps a parent or legal guardian build a recruiting profile, organize a target-school list, and track outreach for their athlete. GritRecruit is intended for families in the United States recruiting to U.S. colleges and universities. GritRecruit provides ready-to-use email templates filled in with your athlete's real information — you personalize and send every email yourself, from your own email account. GritRecruit never drafts content with AI and never sends anything on your behalf.
You must be at least 18 years old and the parent or legal guardian of any athlete profile you create, unless you are an athlete 18 or older managing your own profile. GritRecruit is not intended to be used directly by minors — accounts must be created and controlled by an adult at all times.
If you create an athlete profile for a minor (under 18), you represent that you are that minor's parent or legal guardian under U.S. law, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and you consent on their behalf to GritRecruit collecting and storing the information you choose to enter about them — and, only if you explicitly turn on public sharing for that profile, to that information being displayed to anyone who has the profile's unique link. You may turn off public sharing or delete the profile entirely at any time, and may request full account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.
Any general information GritRecruit provides about NCAA or NAIA recruiting rules, eligibility requirements, or recruiting periods is for informational purposes only. It may not reflect the current or complete rules for your athlete's specific sport, division, or state, and should always be confirmed directly with the NCAA, the NAIA, or the school in question before you rely on it. Nothing on GritRecruit is legal, financial, or professional counseling advice of any kind.
GritRecruit is an independent, family-run tool and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the NCAA, the NAIA, or any college, university, or athletic conference.
GritRecruit is a tool to help you organize and run your own recruiting process. It does not guarantee any coach response, roster spot, scholarship offer, or other recruiting outcome.
Plans and prices. GritRecruit has a free plan and optional paid plans with additional features, described on our Pricing page, including the free plan's limits. Current prices are $19/month for the monthly plan and $180/year for the annual (“Pay in Full”) plan, in U.S. dollars. We may change plans, features, and prices over time. A price change never affects a period you have already paid for, and we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a new price applies to your next renewal.
Payment processing. Payments are handled by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. You enter your card details on Stripe's secure checkout page — GritRecruit never sees or stores your full card number. Your payment is also subject to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.
Automatic renewal and your authorization. By subscribing, you authorize us, through Stripe, to charge your payment method the plan price when you subscribe and again at the start of each billing period — monthly for the monthly plan, once a year for the annual plan — until you cancel. Subscriptions renew automatically.
Canceling. You can cancel at any time using “Manage subscription” on the Pricing page (which opens Stripe's secure billing portal), or by emailing info@gritrecruit.com. Canceling stops future charges. You keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for, after which your account returns to the free plan. We don't provide partial refunds for the unused part of a billing period.
Annual plan refunds. The annual plan is refundable within 14 days of the charge. After that 14-day window, the annual payment is non-refundable, though you can still cancel at any time to stop future renewals.
Requesting a refund or reporting a billing problem. To request a refund you're eligible for, or to report a charge you don't recognize or a duplicate charge, email info@gritrecruit.com. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank. A charge we made in error will always be refunded. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — we'll work to fix it quickly. Disputing a valid charge may lead to your account being suspended.
Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe may retry it over several days. If it still can't be collected, we may cancel the subscription and your account returns to the free plan. We never delete your data just because a payment failed.
If you move to the free plan. Your profiles and data stay in your account, but the free plan's limits apply to what you can add, and some features (such as bulk school import) are only available on paid plans.
Taxes. Prices are in U.S. dollars. If we're required to collect sales or similar taxes on your purchase, they will be added at checkout and shown before you pay.
Discount codes. Promotion and group discount codes (for example for a team or league) are subject to the conditions stated when they are issued, have no cash value, and may be changed or withdrawn.
Shared accounts. Billing belongs to the account owner. A co-parent you invite to your household shares your account's plan but can't change or cancel the subscription.
Deleting your account. Deleting your account immediately cancels any active subscription. We don't refund the unused part of the current billing period, or an annual payment outside the 14-day window, so if you're eligible for a refund, ask for it before you delete your account.
By creating an account, you consent to receive electronic communications from GritRecruit, including account, security, and service-related emails. These are necessary for the service to work — beyond that, reminder emails are only sent when you specifically request them.
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate any person or misrepresent your relationship to any athlete.
You agree not to use GritRecruit to harass, deceive, or send unwanted bulk messages to coaches or schools; to attempt to access another account or another family's data; to scrape, copy, or automate access to the service beyond normal personal use; or to upload content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or that you don't have permission to use.
You keep ownership of any photos, bios, stats, or other content you add to an athlete profile. By choosing to turn on that athlete's public profile, you give GritRecruit permission to display that content on the public page and in the downloadable PDF you generate — solely for that purpose, and only for as long as public sharing stays on or until you delete it. You confirm you have the right to upload any photo or content you add.
If you believe content on a public GritRecruit profile infringes your copyright, contact us at info@gritrecruit.com with a description of the content and your copyright interest in it, and we'll investigate and remove infringing content as appropriate.
Separate from the athlete content you own and control, the GritRecruit name, logo, and the design and software of the service itself belong to GritRecruit and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without permission. GritRecruit is a trademark of GritRecruit.
GritRecruit links to third-party sites such as NCAA.org, NAIA.org, and highlight video links you provide. We aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site you reach through GritRecruit.
GritRecruit is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. We aren't liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GritRecruit's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid GritRecruit, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose. GritRecruit is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost recruiting opportunities.
You may stop using GritRecruit and delete your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, including the acceptable-use rules above.
You agree to defend and hold GritRecruit harmless from any claim arising from your violation of these terms or misuse of the service.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Illinois.
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights. If a dispute comes up, we'd ask you to contact us first at info@gritrecruit.com so we can try to resolve it directly. If we can't resolve it informally within 30 days, you and GritRecruit agree that any remaining dispute will be resolved by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either side may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies.
Class action and jury trial waiver: Disputes must be brought on an individual basis only. You and GritRecruit each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative action against the other.
Opting out: You may opt out of this arbitration and class-action-waiver section by emailing info@gritrecruit.com within 30 days of creating your account, stating that you wish to opt out. If you opt out, disputes will instead be resolved in the courts described above, and the rest of these terms still apply.
If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the terms still apply.
If we don't enforce a part of these terms on one occasion, that doesn't mean we're giving up our right to enforce it later.
If these terms change, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
